2-Million-Pound Food Drive
LA CROSSE - Morrie's Auto Group partners with The Salvation Army in the Wisconsin Upper Michigan Division and the Northern Division as they prepare to collect 2 million pounds of food during the month of March. Throughout the pandemic we have seen needs of our community become more apparent. Whether that be a need for housing, clothing, or food we are here to show up for them.
The goal is to collect 2 million pounds of non-perishable food. This is a collective effort of the Morrie’s Auto Group and The Salvation Army agencies in the areas where they have dealerships. With food drives occurring at over 100 locations during the month of March. This effort allows for us to continue feeling our neighbors who are hungry.
People can drop off non-perishable food at the following locations in the La Crosse area:
Morrie’s Volkswagen & Audi La Crosse
Brenengen Onalaska Chevrolet
Brenengen West Salem Kia
Brenengen West Salem Chevrolet
Brenengen Sparta Chevrolet Buick
Brenengen Sparta Ford
Brenengen Tomah Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Ford
To wrap the event there will be a community distribution day. This will present the opportunity for volunteering. Opportunities include sorting, preparing food boxes, and distributing them to our community via a drive-thru pick up.
Community members can support the campaign in 2 main ways: 1) make a monetary donation online at salacrosse.org or drop off non-perishable items at any of the partner locations listed above throughout the month of March. Campaign runs March 1- March 31, 2022.
