Coats for Kids, 2022

Nov 25, 2022 | by Willow Pecha

Coats for Kids has been a long-standing program in communities across the county. The goal of the program is to ensure children – infants to 18 years old – receive coats for the winter months. In partnership with Kwik Trip, and with help from our community, we were able to collect over 200 coats for our Distribution Day, Friday, November 18th, 2022.

Volunteers assisted in sorting, counting, and organizing the new or gently used coats to prepare for Distribution Day. We also had hundreds of hats, gloves, and mittens donated. We were able to distribute 75 coats and other warming items to youth and families.

In collaboration with Catholic Charities, the remaining coats were given to their year-round clothing and coat closet.
