Angel Tree

Providing new clothes and Christmas gifts for hundreds of
Grant County children to make their Christmas brighter

In 2017, The Salvation Army provided new clothes and Christmas gifts for nearly 800 Grant County children

"We had a beautiful Christmas. If it hadn't been for The Salvation Army, we wouldn't have had a Christmas."

Kim is the grandmother of Jordan. In 2012, Kim's son became severely ill and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. After battling cancer, Kim's son passed away in May 2015. To add to her struggles, several family members passed away over the next several months. As Christmas approached, Kim's grief intensified. In her time of need, Kim turned to The Salvation Army's Angel Tree for help. Because of the Angel Tree, Jordan had a bright Christmas and has been learning about giving back to his community.

How we help brighten the holidays

Every year, hundreds of Grant County children receive clothes and gifts for Christmas through The Salvation Army's Angel Tree.  Angel Tree gives individuals and businesses an opportunity to adopt children in need who would otherwise receive very little or nothing during the holiday season and provides them with personalized gifts and necessities.

How to help

Angel Tree children need sponsors to buy new clothes and toys just for them!  You can do this by taking an Angel Tree tag from The Salvation Army or by making a monetary donation.

Take an Angel Tree Tag

Several Angel Tree tags are still available and can be picked up at The Salvation Army's office:

The Salvation Army
359 N. Bradner Avenue

Make a Monetary Donation

Making a monetary donation helps us purchase items for children whose tags were not sponsored.
