Applications for families in need of Christmas assistance will be accepted at The Salvation Army Crystal Lake (McHenry County) from November 5 - November 10th.
Eligibility is based on annual household income that is no more than 200% of the poverty guideline ($48,500.00 for a family of four) and verified residency in McHenry County.
To qualify for assistance, you must bring the following:
- 1 form of verification of residency in McHenry Co. (such as driver’s license, utility bill or lease contract)
- Proof of monthly income (pay stub, social security or child support statements)
- Birth certificates only for all dependent children ages infant – 16 years old.
NO SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Applications will be accepted on the following dates and times:
- Monday, November 4 – 9am-12pm
- Tuesday, November 5 – 1pm – 4pm / 5pm – 7pm
- Wednesday, November 6 – 9am – 12pm
- Thursday, November 7 – 1pm – 4pm /5pm-7pm
- Friday, November 8 – 9am – 12pm
- Saturday, November 9 – 9am – 12pm
- Monday, December 2 - 9am - 12pm
- Tuesday, December 3 - 9am - 12 pm
