This event is in celebration of The Salvation Army's programs and services, and will honor the recipients of The Salvation Army’s prestigious William Booth Society Award and “Others” Award. Honorees are recognized on an annual basis because they exemplify the spirit of our founder, William Booth, by putting others first.
Sponsorship packages are now available. All proceeds benefit more than 50 programs to help anyone in need across Chicagoland.

Tom Ricketts is the Executive Chairman of the Chicago Cubs and longtime fan of the team. In 2009, he led his family's acquisition of the team from the Tribune Company. When Tom and his family were introduced as the new owners of the Chicago Cubs, he outlined three goals for the organization: win the World Series; preserve and improve Wrigley Field for future generations; and to be good neighbors, giving back to the city and the team's North Side neighborhood.
Ricketts is also the co-founder and Chairman of Incapital LLC, an investment bank with underwriting and distribution expertise in a wide range of securities. In addition to his role as Chairman, he sits on a number of boards in the Chicago area further backing his promise to improving the Chicago community.
The Salvation Army is pleased to recognize this year's award winners for their tireless support of the Army's mission and services throughout the Chicagoland area.
