The Salvation Army occupies a special place in the hearts of Americans—and Chicagoans—by virtue of its services, brand recognition, reputation, and effectiveness. And no time is this more evident than during the holiday season, when passersby fill the familiar Salvation Army red kettles with generous donations.
Now, Chicago-area companies looking to “do the most good” and get involved with something special this holiday season, can participate in one of our Holiday Corporate Partner Programs. Depending on the package, your organization can associate your brand with The Salvation Army, gain valuable media exposure, populate a table at our well-attended annual luncheon, and involve employees in important service activities. A calendar of opportunities follows and more detailed information for any of these projects or a full listing of sponsorship benefits is available.
Angel Tree & Holiday Toy Drive
Purchase gift items for children, based on items listed on Angel Tags; includes clothing and toys. Additional toys are also needed to supplement Angel Tree requests.
Angel Tree sponsorships are also available from $7,500 - $20,000.
Red Kettle Campaign
Opportunities are available to serve as The Salvation Army Metropolitan Division’s official ambassador of the annual fundraising campaign. Money raised during the campaign supports The Army’s programs and services the entire year. Nearly 70 percent of the Army’s annual revenue is raised during the Christmas season.

Additional opportunities are avaiable for kettle sponsorships. You can help The Salvation Army raise money during the holiday season by ringing a bell at one of the many Red Kettle locations throughout the area or through an On-line Red Kettle. Funding from the Red Kettle Campaign helps to support our services throughout the year.
Sponsorships of the Adopt-A-Kettle program are available starting at $5,000.
WBBM Good Neighbor Radiothon
Broadcast live from Woodfield Mall on WBBM Newsradio in December, the Good Neighbor Radiothon represents 19 hours of programming and promotions supporting the services of The Salvation Army. Volunteers are needed to help answer phones and take pledges from listeners.
Sponsorships are available from $5,000 - $200,000.
