The Salvation Army is partnering with NBC5, Telemundo, and Comcast to help families in need of winter coats.
Once again the NBC 5, Telemundo Chicago and Comcast Making a Difference Coat Drive is happening in the Greater Chicagoland area from Monday, November 19 through Wednesday, December 19. All new and gently used coats donated will go to The Salvation Army. Last year, we collected more than 2,240 coats for people in need.
Check our list of collection locations throughout the Greater Chicagoland area including NBC 5 Chicago Tower and select Salvation Army Thrift Stores.
If you are in need of a coat, please contact your local Salvation Army Corps Community Center or call 773-353-8607. Coats will be available starting November 19, 2018.
You will need to apply for a coat voucher that can be used at any Salvation Army Thrift Store.
