The Salvation Army is pleased to announce the 2023 Doing the Most Good Awards & Civic Dinner, April 27, at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.
The 2023 Doing the Most Good Awards & Civic Dinner will honor individuals and organizations who have made exceptional contributions to the community and are committed to supporting The Salvation Army's mission of serving others. The event will welcome the National Advisory Board members to St. Louis and have remarks from the National Commander of The Salvation Army, Commissioner Kenneth Hodder.
"We are thrilled to be able to honor those who have gone above and beyond in their support of The Salvation Army," said Lt. Colonel Robert Webster, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army Midland Division. "Their contributions have helped to make a real difference in the lives of those in need, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to our mission.”

We are honored to have Yolonda Lankford as the Mistress of Ceremonies for this year's Doing the Most Good Awards. Yolonda Lankford is one of St. Louis' most inspirational leaders in the community. She uses her gifts to uplift girls and women in the St. Louis community through various initiatives. She is an inspirational leader with a powerful presence and an infectious personality.
We are honored to have legendary entertainer Denise Thimes performing at the Doing the Most Good Awards. Denise has performed with such jazz notables as Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, (St. Louis, MO) the late Clark Terry (The Blue Note-NY), Dr. Billy Taylor, Earl May, Benny Powell, (Flushing Town Hall) and James Moody (Blue Note-NY). She has also graced the stage with the likes of Houston Person, Jimmy&Tootie Heath, Bobby McFerrin, and Bucky Pizzarelli.
