The holidays bring added financial and emotional stress to families living in poverty.
Holiday times are tough when you can't afford a meal or gifts. The Salvation Army helps families make the holidays bright no matter what.
These iconic red kettles signal the start of the holiday season. Donations collected in these buckets support the services in your neighborhood. Bell ringers are both seasonal employees and volunteers. Learn more about Bell Ringing or Register to Ring now. From October 1 - January 31st, join the Fight for Good by donating through our Online Red Kettle.

When you're struggling financially to care for your family, holiday gifts are often not feasible. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program allows donors to purchase gifts and clothes for families in need, making their holidays brighter.
This year due to Covid-19, more people than ever in our community are struggling to make ends meet. The Angel Tree Program of Springfield, Missouri helps families in need by providing toys for 1000-1500 children each year. Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. Your generous gift from our registry with Walmart will bring joy to a local child and help us Rescue Christmas!
The Salvation Army provides Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families unable to create a special meal themselves. We host homemade dinners at our facility and provide a Christmas dinner box to struggling families. Each box feeds a family of six and includes meat, potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, biscuits, cake mix and more.
