The goals of The Salvation Army are fueled by a vision that sees an end to poverty, hunger, and homelessness. A community where no child goes without food, shelter, or opportunity.

The 10th annual Swing Fore The Kettle Golf Invitational will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Wisconsin Country Club. With the generous participation of our supporters the Swing Fore the Kettle Golf Invitational has raised over $700,000. The funds raised this year will be used to support children’s programming and needs in Milwaukee County.

In 2022, The Salvation Army Milwaukee County:

• Provided 65,087 summer meals to children through the Feed the Kids program
• Distributed 46,182 gifts for children during the holiday season through the Toy Shop program
• Distributed 4,540 coats during the cold, winter months via Coat Distribution
• Distributed 958 backpacks filled with school supplies through the Backpack Distribution

In 2019, the silent auction alone raised over $23,000 for the programs and services provided by The Salvation Army Milwaukee County. Our goal this year is to increase that number to $35,000.
