The Salvation Army Mt. Clemens Annual Holiday Assistance Programs
The Salvation Army understands that human need is holistic. As an expression of our holistic services we host our annual thanksgiving lunch, our annual senior citizen’s Christmas party, and provides coats and toys to families in need in our community.
How we help brighten the holidays
Annual Thanksgiving Lunch
Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate family, so we provide a community thanksgiving meal on the Wednesday before thanksgiving. All are welcome. This meal is served by community volunteers. For more information please contact Korienna Cox at (586) 469-6712.
Annual Christmas assistance program
This program allows us to provide coats and toys to underserved children. Last year we served 200 families with 446 children made possible by collecting donations from our adopt-a-family, angel tree; school and business toy drive.
