Civic Luncheon Guests

Amy Grant

Amy Grant, a six-time Grammy Award winner and pioneer of Contemporary Christian Music, has spent decades using her platform to uplift those in need. Beyond her musical success, she is deeply committed to philanthropy focused on children’s health, disaster relief, and poverty alleviation. Through her own Helping Hands Foundation, she has actively worked to provide aid and resources to underserved communities. Her compassionate approach to music and giving has made her a beloved figure both on and off the stage.

Amy has also demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting those experiencing homelessness. She has participated in numerous benefit concerts and fundraising efforts, using her voice to advocate for vulnerable populations. Her values align closely with The Salvation Army’s mission of serving those in need, making her an ideal musical guest for the Civic Luncheon. With her heartfelt lyrics and dedication to service, she continues to inspire audiences while making a tangible impact on communities across the country.

Kevin Warren

Kevin Warren is the President and CEO of the Chicago Bears, bringing a wealth of leadership experience from both the NFL and collegiate sports. Before joining the Bears in 2023, Warren served as the commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, where he played a key role in expanding the conference and securing record-breaking media deals. His NFL career spans decades, including a 15-year tenure with the Minnesota Vikings, where he was instrumental in the development of U.S. Bank Stadium. Warren’s leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in family values and community engagement, making him a fitting leader for a franchise with a storied history like the Chicago Bears.

Under Warren’s leadership, the Bears have reinforced their commitment to community impact. He has emphasized the team’s role beyond the field, advocating for initiatives that uplift Chicago’s youth, support underprivileged communities, and strengthen partnerships with organizations like The Salvation Army. His vision extends to building a world-class stadium that not only benefits the team but also serves as a hub for civic engagement. At the Salvation Army Civic Luncheon, Warren will share insights on why the Bears invest in meaningful partnerships and how collaboration with organizations like The Army creates lasting change.

The Annual Civic Luncheon is our premier event in support of The Salvation Army’s programs and services. The event receives significant media coverage from major outlets such as Crain’s Chicago Business and NBC5 Chicago.

As an event sponsor, you would have the opportunity to be featured prominently in the promotional materials.

In addition to celebrating The Salvation Army’s programs and services, the Civic Luncheon highlights two prestigious awards: The William Booth Award and The Others Award. These awards are presented annually to individuals who embody the kindness and spirit of our founder, William Booth, by putting the needs of others first.
