We Love Because God Loved Us First

We provide spiritual service and guidance to anyone God brings across our path.

Spiritual Ministry

When you think of The Salvation Army, you might picture red kettles or our stores. Most people don’t realize we are a Christian church. We meet people’s physical needs and heal souls through our spiritual ministry – by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the promise of salvation. We want to help you explore what it means to have a personal relationship with God.

Whether church is already part of your life or you are experiencing faith for the first time, you are always welcome at our weekly worship service Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. We also offer spiritual ministries during the week.

Click the links below to reveal a description of each current ministry opportunity:

Start your Sunday mornings with us! Come learn about God’s Word and how it applies to your life. We begin the morning with juice and rolls at 9:30 a.m. before Sunday school at 10 a.m. At 11 a.m., we have a multicultural worship service. Join us for prayer time, praise and worship and a message from the Bible each week.

Teen Night is a high-energy program geared toward teaching high school aged youth about God’s amazing promises. On Monday nights at 6:30 p.m., youth can come to enjoy fellowship, games, singing, and a teen-related Bible lesson, all while spending time with friends. Teen Night meets on an academic calendar.

During the school year, children and youth are invited to join us on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m for our character building program. The evening starts with a class that teaches practical knowledge and skills as the students earn badges. This class is followed by a community meal, and devotions in our chapel. Children and youth in these programs can become registered troop members and are eligible to the attend The Salvation Army Northwoods Troop camp. Call 763-425-0517 to learn how to get your kids involved.

Do you like to pray? Would you like to pray for the needs of our community with others? Then please join us on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for this dynamic Bible study and prayer meeting.
