Cyrena’s Story

After ending a relationship with her boyfriend, Cyrena and her daughter Destiny found themselves homeless and was denied help at every turn, that is, until they came to the Duluth Salvation Army. Through the housing and support Cyrena received, she applied for a nursing program, was accepted, earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certification, and now is able to provide a home and a life full of hope for her daughter.
