To help celebrate this event and encourage others to give, an anonymous donor will match all local gifts made to The Salvation Army on Giving Tuesday, up to $25,000.

When you donate $105 on Giving Tuesday, your gift feeds three families for a week, helps save a family from eviction, or provides hope when someone needs it most. As a special bonus, those who give $105 will receive a special ornament to remind you that you were a light for a local family this Christmas season.
Here are three ways your donation to The Salvation Army on Giving Tuesday will make an impact:
- Gifts stay local: Your donation will be used to support Salvation Army services offered in your billing ZIP code, funding vital programs that help local families with groceries, utility bills, rent assistance, Christmas presents, and more.
- Buying in bulk: We buy food in bulk to stretch your dollar further than what you can purchase and donate yourself. This allows your gift to multiply into more hot meals, groceries, and other support.
- Mission-first service: We serve in the name of Jesus Christ, without discrimination – a mission that hasn’t changed since The Salvation Army was founded in 1865.
