Adults in need make up the biggest group we serve

Through programs designed to address the mind, body and soul, we meet the needs of adults of all ages.

Not Your Average Day Center

Forget what you thought you knew about adult day centers, because this place is drumming to the beat of a different tune. This is The Lakewood Salvation Army Adult Day Center located in Maplewood, MN - a fun-loving community where the motto is "can-do."

Mind + Body

There’s always a choice of two or more activities going on simultaneously throughout the day to allow people to make their own choices. The opportunity to say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is something older adults and adults with disabilities often lose the privilege of doing. We strive to restore their quality of life.

Partner with Adults

The Adult Day Center program is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to serve guests who are 18 or older. Our center is a loving place for adults who need specialized support to maintain independent living.

We also provide caregivers and loved ones with the education and support needed to continue quality care in the home setting.

Nursing and Other Services
From skilled nursing care to help with daily activities, we offer a variety of services, including:

  • Nutritious noon meals
  • Art and pet therapy to enrich lives
