Spiritual Ministry
When you think of the Willmar Salvation Army, you might picture red kettles or our thrift store. Yet most people don’t realize we are a Christian church. We meet people’s physical needs and heal souls through our spiritual ministry – by sharing the love of Jesus Christ and the promise of salvation. We want to help you explore what it means to have a personal relationship with God.
Whether church is already part of your life or you are experiencing faith for the first time, you are always welcome at our weekly worship service Sunday mornings at 11 a.m. We also offer spiritual ministries during the week.
You’re invited to join us as we study the Bible verse-by-verse. This study meets Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m.
The men’s ministry meets every Tuesday at 6 p.m. for a night of fellowship. Men of all ages are invited. Our activities vary each week from movie and game nights to service projects and more. Call 320-235-2033 to learn how to get involved.
The women’s ministry meets every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. to study God’s word. Women over age 18 are invited to attend. The ministry focuses on four primary aspects, which are education, worship, fellowship, and service. Call 320-235-2033 to learn how to get involved.
Youth girls from ages 7 to 16 can attend our Girls Club program every Monday starting at 4:30 p.m. Girls learn about God’s love and participate in activities ranging from Zoomba and swimming to cooking lessons and games. A warm meal is also served. To help us plan for the meal, please call 320-235-2033 in advance to reserve a spot. There is no cost.
