It’s the kindhearted volunteers like you who help fulfill our promise to do the most good. Whether you have a specific talent to offer or simply an hour of your time, The Salvation Army is the place to turn your passion into action.
To get started as a volunteer, contact our Volunteer Coordinator at 701-356-2688 or fill out a volunteer application.
Volunteer Opportunities
Monday through Friday from 7:45–9 a.m. (breakfast) or 11:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (lunch). Up to three volunteers per shift. All shifts are scheduled at least two weeks in advance. No weekend or evening shifts.

• 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Assist 1st responders during times of crisis in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas.
• A willingness to serve others.
Donate
The Salvation Army welcomes monetary donations of any amount. You can either give online or send a check to The Salvation Army, 304 Roberts St., Fargo, ND 58102.
In addition, in-kind donation items are needed to create Personal Care Kits for people in desperate need.
