All kettle donations tripled along Grand Ave., Dec. 5

Roseville, Minn. – If you’re out holiday shopping this weekend in St. Paul, Minn., look for a red kettle along Grand Ave. during Grand Meander.  All donations made there on Saturday, Dec. 5 will be tripled up to $10,000 by Deluxe Corp.

“This generous gift definitely makes an impact for us,” said Major Jeff Strickler, Twin Cities Commander. “We know that some people save up their donations, just waiting for a match so that those dollars go further. What a fun way to be able to participate during this great St. Paul event.”

Ten Salvation Army kettles will be stationed between Snelling Avenue and Grotto Street, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Grand Meander is a family-favorite holiday celebration with food, shopping and entertainment, including Santa, trolley rides, Christmas carolers, a tree lighting ceremony and much more.

So far, The Twin Cities Salvation Army has raised about $3 million toward its $11.6 million Christmas goal.
