Convenient State Fair parking for a good cause
Roseville, Minn. – If you’re headed to the Minnesota State Fair this year, you can park your car in a convenient location and help raise money for a great cause.
For the entire run of the fair, parking is available at The Salvation Army’s Booth Brown House at 1471 Como Ave. W. in St. Paul for just $10 a day. It’s a short, two block walk to the fairgrounds, and all the money raised goes to support The Salvation Army’s youth shelter and supportive housing program.
“This fundraiser is hugely important for us,” said Ingrid Holt, program director at Booth Brown House. “We rely on the money we raise during the fair to make our budget each year, and that money stays right here to serve homeless and disadvantaged youth.”
Booth Brown House has 118 parking spots available.
Plus, if you park there on the first day of the fair, or on September 5 and 6, donors will match that $10 fee with a $10 donation.
Culligan Water has also donated bottled water for each car that parks there during the fair.
