Got time? Volunteer at your local Salvation Army

Apr 10, 2015

The Salvation Army Northern Division relies heavily on volunteers throughout Minnesota and North Dakota. Floods cannot be fought without volunteers, food does not get delivered without volunteer drivers, and The Salvation Army store shelves are stocked thanks to the help of dozens of volunteers.

“It’s truly a blessing to have people come forward to help with our mission of meeting human needs in His name,” said Lt. Col. Robert Thomson, Salvation Army Northern Division leader. “Whether people take a couple of hours to bell ring during the busy holiday season or take an hour or two to help serve a meal, every little bit helps and we are so appreciative of all of the support we receive.”

Below are some of our more urgent volunteer needs in Minnesota and North Dakota.

These are just several of the volunteer positions that are currently available. Additional opportunities can be found at a Salvation Army location near you.
