Hot turkey dinners for all

Nov 24, 2014

The Salvation Army is helping families gear up for turkey day by giving away turkeys and all the fixings to hundreds of families in need this week. The next item on our Thanksgiving agenda is just as tasty: hot turkey dinners for all.

On Thursday we’ll be cooking up turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and other Turkey Day favorites at Salvation Army locations across Minnesota and North Dakota

“We believe that nobody should go without a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day,” said Colonel Robert Thomson, Salvation Army Northern Division Commander. “Everybody deserves a place to be welcomed with open arms. We are grateful for the people we serve, the volunteers who help us serve and the opportunity we have to show others the love of Jesus Christ on this special day of thanks.”

We welcome you to any of these Salvation Army locations for a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 27.
