Join us for Easter services, free food, egg hunts
Easter is coming Sunday, April 5. Come celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ with The Salvation Army at any of our Northern Division worship and service centers. Check with your local Salvation Army for specific worship times by clicking on your region – Twin Cities, Minnesota or North Dakota – and navigating to your community.
Additionally, a sunrise service will be held at Como Zoo in St. Paul (pictured at top), and several Salvation Army locations in Minnesota and North Dakota will be offering free meals and Easter egg hunts. More information about these events is below.
“Everybody is welcome to worship with us during this most important holiday,” said Major Jeff Strickler, Twin Cities Salvation Army Commander. “Please join The Salvation Army as we celebrate the love and power of our one true leader, Jesus Christ.”
If you’re unfamiliar with the story of Jesus’ resurrection, or would simply like to learn a new and thought-provoking angle on it, read this story Strickler wrote about the perspectives of the four Gospel writers: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
