‘MyPillow’ donates 1,000 pillows to Salvation Army
Roseville, Minn. – Hundreds of Salvation Army guests will soon be enjoying a better night’s sleep, thanks to Chaska-based MyPillow. The company is donating 1,000 of their signature pillows to Twin Cities Salvation Army housing units.
“This is simply a blessing for The Salvation Army and the people we serve,” said Major Jeff Strickler, Twin Cities Commander. “In some cases, we can’t offer people a pillow at all, much less a brand new one that can be washed again and again. To be able to provide our guests with these new pillows is such a gift.”
On Thursday, Jan. 28, My Pillow inventor Mike Lindell will be at The Harbor Light Center at 1010 Currie Ave. in Minneapolis to help deliver the pillows. Half of the 1,000 pillows will stay at Harbor Light, with the rest going to other transitional and permanent supportive housing units in the Twin Cities.
