ND and MN Realtors take over kettles on Ring Day
Roseville, Minn. – Real estate professionals will join in the bell ringing excitement today at Salvation Army red kettle locations across Minnesota and North Dakota. Ring Day is an annual tradition in which realty companies take over the kettles for a day and, in some cases, compete against each other to raise the most money.
From Williston, N.D. to Rochester, Minn., you’ll find real estate professionals at Cub Foods, Cash Wise, Walmart, and other department and grocery stores.
“We are grateful for the time these groups give to us,” explained Lt. Col. Lonneal Richardson, Salvation Army Northern Division leader. “It’s wonderful to partner with an industry that also knows the importance of security and comfort that a home provides.”
Ring Day was created to give real estate professionals an opportunity to support those who are without housing. The money they raise supports The Salvation Army’s housing facilities and in North Dakota and Minnesota, which provide nearly 400,000 nights of shelter per year.
Since its start in 2010, real estate professionals from across the country have been giving back to their communities on Ring Day.
Please join The Salvation Army by registering to ring or making a donation to support your local community today.
