Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern, host of the popular Travel Channel show “Bizarre Foods,” served food and visited with youth at the Payne Ave. Salvation Army. He was inspired to do so after reading a story about the facility’s head chef, Jeff Ansorge, who left a high-paying job at a popular Minneapolis restaurant to cook hot lunches for people served by The Salvation Army.
