Taste of the Town Returns for the Good Samaritan Health Clinic!

Taste of the Town Returns for the Good Samaritan Health Clinic! Image

The Salvation Army will revive its Taste of the Town event in support of its Good Samaritan Health Clinic on April 1, 2022. The clinic is an essential service, ensuring that those without or with too little health insurance in our community do not go without care.

This event will take place at the new Hilton Hotel in downtown Rochester, where the evening’s meal will be prepared by Chef Chris Hodap. Each table will be served a broad array of dishes, paying homage to the event’s pre-pandemic format, while helping to make this event safer and to relieve the pressure this event has previously placed on the restaurant community.

We are also excited to host a dynamic program, complete with a keynote from The Good Samaritan Health Clinic’s new medical director, Dr. Allison Ducharme-Smith. Dr. Smith is an internal medicine physician with Mayo Clinic in addition to her roles as medical director, spouse, and mother.
