Join The Salvation Army for a wonderful evening of food and fellowship in support of The Good Samaritan Health Clinic on Friday, April 28th, 2023, at the Hilton Hotel Mayo Clinic Area. 

This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Nandan Anavekar, of Mayo Clinic Cardiology. 

Born and raised in Melbourne Australia, Dr. Anavekar grew up in a very nurturing and close family environment. He left home at the age of 17 to pursue Medical Studies in Dublin, Ireland, and pursued his post graduate medical training in the USA. He completed his Residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases in 2011, and has been a general cardiologist in the cardiac intensive care unit with an imaging subspecialty since that time. 

Dr. Anavekar started volunteering at The Salvation Army's Good Samaritan Health Clinic in 2018, and he believes his greatest journey has been the inward journey of self discovery as a student in human philosophy, engagement, and service, of which The Good Sam has been his greatest teacher.

This event's menu, was created with the theme, "All Around the World." Every dish in this year's menu has been inspired by a different country or region of the world.
