Please read the following instructions before applying to receive Christmas Gifts:

The Toy & Joy Shop is for families with children 0-16 years of age. Guardians are given a time to choose gifts for each of their children from our selection of new items donated by members of the community each year. Families will also be provided with a gift card to be used to purchase a Christmas meal. 

To be eligible to receive Christmas Gifts, households must reside in Olmsted County, MN, must meet income eligibility (eligibile for Energy Assistance or Free/Reduced Lunches), and all children included in each application must reside in the household of the applicant. 

If a child does not reside in your household, the head of the household where the child resides must be the one to apply for Christmas Gifts for that child. 

This application will regularly reference "Angels." Please note that an Angel is any child in your household who is 16 years of age or younger.

To receive Christmas Gifts, you must pre-register by clicking the "Register" button on this page. The online application will open on November 1, 2022, and remain open until end of day on December 16th, 2022. 

Once you've clicked this button, click "NO" next to the space for an invitation code, enter your zip code, and you will be redirected to our local Toy & Joy Shop application. 

You will be asked to upload documents to this application, including an ID for the head of your household with your current address, and ID for each child that includes their birth date (a birth certificate, MA card, school ID, immunization card, or other), and proof of your income (pay stubs, MFIP letter, EBT card, etc.) If you cannot upload documents, you can still apply online and then make an appointment to visit our team in person to complete the document portion of your application.
