Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.
How we help cure hunger
Bread Shelf
Our food shelf offers a wide range of groceries, allowing individuals and families in need to stretch their budgets. Food boxes may include shelf-stable pantry items, breads, cereals, meat and other household necessities. On occasion, fresh produce is also made available. The food shelf is open every weekday at 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m.
Emergency Food Shelf
Our emergency food shelf is by appointment only. Please call 218-741-1889 to schedule a time to visit.
Free Dinner Program
We serve a hot meal at our worship and service center for dinner every weekday from 3:50 - 4:50 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
Summer Hot Lunch for Kids (June - August)
We help ensure that the most vulnerable members of our community do not go hungry. We host a lunch for kids every weekday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
