Doing the Most to Provide Housing
& Prevent Evictions

Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of lodging to those in need.

About 15 percent of the homeless population is comprised of "chronically homeless" individuals.

This means struggling neighbors are sleeping on the streets, in cars, staying with family or friends temporarily, or frequently moving from residence to residence.

Our doors are always open.

Each year, The Salvation Army provides over 10 million nights of lodging to those in need. Our homelessness prevention programs and shelters provide safe housing, food, and spiritual and practical support to families who have nowhere else to go.
