The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of September 13
After Jesus drives the demons out of a man, the man begs to accompany Him on the road as His disciple. But Jesus tells him no. Instead, He instructs the healed man to go back and share the Good News with his own people in his own hometown.
Sometimes those who most need the hope of Christ are right in our own backyards: our neighbors, coworkers, friends and family members. Let us not overlook our own people; they, too, need to know God’s love.
