Love In Action

Jan 9, 2020

The Salvation Army responded to two house fires in Washington, Illinois on Wednesday night, January 8th. Lt. Brandon Lewis led a team of personnel and volunteers in serving meals and providing spiritual care for the families affected, the first responders, and neighbors in the area. Lt. Lewis said, "We are so thankful that no one was injured in either fire. The Salvation Army was humbled and honored to provide support to the families, firefighters, and police that responded to both fires

so quickly."

We are grateful to our dedicated first responders and loving neighbors who came together to save lives tonight!
