Celebrating Our History of Service: Family Support

Family Shelter:

Our Peoria Family Shelter houses single women and intact families. Utilizing our Pathway of Hope social services model, we work to help individuals and families overcome barriers such as unemployment and unstable housing and help them to break the cycle of poverty.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone in our community. Throughout this crisis, the Family Shelter Staff has strengthened their commitment to those they serve, making sure to help those in the most need. Our outstanding Family Shelter Staff members have truly done their part to “Do the Most Good” since the installment of the Stay at Home order in March. Staff members have provided the following:

  • A total of 500 meals at the Family Shelter
  • Provided a total of 376 nights of lodging at the Family Shelter, averaging 10 people per day
