Our Army of Volunteers
The students of Amy Windsor and Shannon Steffen’s Pathways Transition Program at Dunlap High School have devoted their time and skills as volunteers of The Salvation Army.
Since November of 2020, the students have worked hard to...
- Organize 100 hygiene kits for the individuals in our Family Shelter and Men’s Shelter
- Prepare more than 1,500 sandwiches to help feed the individuals in our Men’s Shelter, and others in need around our community.
- Complete the very special project of making fleece-tie blankets to benefit those in our homeless shelters.
Teacher Amy Windsor shared the following about her class’ volunteer experience:
"Volunteering for the Salvation Army has allowed our Pathways class to give back to the community while developing new skills. Working with the Salvation Army has been a rewarding and fun experience for our students. We look forward to our continued work with the Salvation Army!”
We are so grateful for the support from Dunlap High School’s Pathways students – Thank you!
