Pandemic Partnership Appreciation: Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic a serious statement has been made by local Peoria community members. No matter what organization, business or agency they belong to, countless people have firmly shown that coming together in every way possible is how we can undoubtedly endure the challenges being put in front of us. Families & individuals alike have been forced to confront difficult decisions and are in need of help. Together, The Salvation Army and Peoria's local communities provide a lifeline for those in need to utilize. Undertaking this mission has brought many to join in The Salvation Army's Fight For Good and today we recognize the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria for taking action in support of others.
Many have provided the local Salvation Army programs/services with support, but the members of YPGP went above & beyond to undertake this mission by choosing to host their own food drive!
Because of their time and effort, the food pantry shelves here at The Salvation Army were stocked with many of the much needed supplies that we offer to those in need around the Peoria communities. When a parent, child, individual or family come to us for help we can proudly offer the assistance they need because of the dedication we see from partners like the YPGP.
Help us in thanking the Young Professionals Organization & share the inspiration their actions create by joining The Salvation Army mission with them, in whatever way you can.
