Red Kettle Donations Go Farther!
Thanks to a generous gift from Zanfel Laboratories, donations made to The Peoria Salvation Army Red Kettles from December 18 through December 24 will be doubled thanks to their matching gift! During this match, Peoria area supporters can make an even greater impact for those people in our community who are in need of assistance this Holiday Season.
“We are so grateful to Zanfel for committing to match up to $25,000 in Red Kettle donations. During these unprecedented times, more people than ever before are struggling to feed their families and pay their bills. The Peoria community has been so generous with their contributions. We are excited to provide them an opportunity to double their donation through this matching gift.” - Major Jesse Collins, Tri-County Commander
To date, $142,000 has been raised through the Peoria Red Kettles. The money donated at The Salvation Army Red Kettles stays in Peoria to help people in our community who can’t afford food; people who are struggling to make ends meet because they have been out of work as a result of the pandemic; and people who want to take steps to get out of poverty.
Major Heath Sells, officer at the Peoria Citadel Community Center, noted, “We are so blessed with amazing support from our local businesses and individuals.” He continued, “We are able to be there for those people in need because of the donations we receive from the community. Thank you for being our partners in doing the most good.”
The Red Kettles are located throughout the Peoria area, but you can also visit our Virtual Red Kettle if you prefer to make your donation through safely & securely online.
