Rotary Club Awards Hunger Grant
Among the many goals and initiatives of Peoria's Rotary Club, their Hunger Grants are the latest to empower The Salvation Army's local work. The Rotary Club stated, "Our hope is that through collaboration between our club and your organization, we are able to make a larger impact and provide more to those who need it most."
This generosity will create an impact that is felt by the men women and children in need throughout our local communities. The grant awarded to The Salvation Army will allow our food pantry to serve upwards to 40 families in need with groceries, and also 200 hot meals to those facing hunger or food insecurity.
The Salvation Army thanks our local Rotary Club for believing and trusting in our mission's work to meet hunger locally. It is because of partners like this that our programs and ministries continue to meet the greatest needs of Peoria's communities!
