It is through the generosity from all of Peoria's community members (both large & small) that The Salvation Army is able to continue its life-changing services, like providing food and shelter for local neighbors in need. Our mission is so blessed to have amazing supporters like Michael Rieker and Peoria Tire and Vulcanizing. Their recent fundraising efforts dedicated to The Salvation Army have created real change in the way of providing an entire week of shelter, food and case management for 19 families! Their generosity also provided 4 families with a comprehensive six- to nine-month program that helps guide them through the steps needed to break the cycle of poverty by identifying their personal life challenges directly.
Peoria Tire and Vulcanizing is helping to change people’s lives when they need it the most by coming together with their community partners in supporting The Salvation Army's work.
We want to both thank Michael Rieker and his entire team/family for their support and congratulate them for reaching their 100th year of business in the Peoria area.
