We Are an Organization Dedicated to Doing the Most Good in your community.

Mission Statement

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Who we Are

Since 1886, The Salvation Army has been serving those in need in Peoria. We work hand in hand with those in the surrounding areas who want to help their fellow man in need. Veterans, children, single mothers, the hungry and homeless all look to us for help.  Thanks to you and other giving and caring souls, we are able to help people make positive change in their lives, whether they face temporary struggles or more serious issues. Thanks to you, we are engaged in a Fight for Good 365 days a year!
