The Salvation Army of the Quad Cities is excited to once again be selected as a beneficiary of the John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity Program. Since 1971 the John Deere Classic has delivered over $133 million to regional charities, most of it through its innovative Birdies for Charity program. No other event on the PGA Tour does it better - and it’s the generous and hardworking nature of this area that makes it happen.
The local families who receive our services with housing, food, utility assistance, Christmas programs and much more are met thanks to the generosity given through events like the John Deer Classic.
Birdies for Charity is one way you can help support your neighbors in need throughout the the Quad Cities communities. Your pledges stay local and are tax deductible!

100% of every pledge collected goes directly to The Salvation Army if we are your specified charity. The John Deere Foundation covers all administrative costs to make that possible. Also, the tournament takes its profits each year and delivers a second check from between 5% and 10% of that charity’s final total to make the impact even greater!
*Please note that all pledges and donations must be received at the tournament office (or online) by July 1st.
