The Salvation Army of the Quad Cities is excited to once again be selected as a beneficiary of the John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity Program. Since 1971 the John Deere Classic has delivered over $133 million to regional charities, most of it through its innovative Birdies for Charity program. No other event on the PGA TOUR does it better - and it’s the generous and hardworking nature of this area that makes it happen.

This past year has been especially difficult for many of our local community neighbors – 57% of low-income Americans experienced income or unemployment loss. The Salvation Army's Social Service program numbers increased exponentially and remain inflated as the need continues to be greater than ever.

Many working-class families who have never needed our assistance sought help with housing, food, utility assistance, Christmas programs and much more. Birdies for Charity is one way you can help support those who are in need throughout the the Quad Cities communities. Your pledges stay local and are tax deductible.

Please consider “Chipping In For Charity” through The John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity (Click Here to download & fill out your form today)

100% of every pledge collected goes directly to The Salvation Army if we are your specified charity. The John Deere Foundation covers all administrative costs to make that possible. Also, the tournament takes its profits each year and delivers a second check from between 5% and 10% of that charity’s final total to make the impact even greater!

*Please note that all pledges and donations must be received at the tournament office (or online) by June 21.
