Positive Experiences Make a Lasting Impact

Studies show that kids and teens with supportive role models in their lives consistently demonstrate better behavior, stronger academic performance and higher self-esteem than those without similar influencers.

Our youth development programs provide the guidance and encouragement needed to grow into thriving adults.

Time in Nature Makes a World of Difference

"The only sight more beautiful than the Black Hills is 50 campers sitting in solitude, spending time with God in the Black Hills." - Ruth, leader of our Senior Girls Camp

Character Building Classes  |  Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. including dinner

Junior Soldiers  |  Sundays at 10 a.m.
The aim of the Junior Soldier program is to ensure that children involved in The Salvation Army have personally received Jesus Christ as their Savior and are discipled in biblical truths, life applications and Salvation Army principles and practices. Junior Soldiers are the youngest members of The Salvation Army.

Gospel Arts Music Education  |  Tuesdays at 6 p.m. during the school year
Youth in kindergarten through 12th grade are given opportunities to learn the basics of music through song, dance and instrument instruction. Classes are offered for timbrels, ukulele and beginner music theory. There is also an opportunity to sing in the youth choir and participate in special seasonal events like the Christmas Musical.
