Every Christmas The Salvation Army teams up with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program to collect toys for children ages 0-17 in the greater Sheboygan area. The donated toys are used to fill the wish lists of local families and distributed through The Salvation Army Toys Shoppe in December. Collection boxes will be placed at local businesses mid-November.
There are a number of ways to support The Salvation Army this Christmas season.
Donate to a local Red Kettle Nov. 16 through Christmas Eve. With bell ringing taking palce at 14 locations, and nearly 40 counter kettles at area businesses, there's a Kettle near you.
