Be A Blessing

Thank you so much for your interest in our Youth Volunteer Opportunities. Youth under 18 can volunteer on site with a parent who is an approved SA volunteer or participate in an offsite blessing!

  • Pre-Packaged Lunches: The Emergency Lodge shelter residents receive three meals a day. Breakfast and dinner are served on site and lunch is a pre-packaged bag.  Youth volunteer groups are encouraged to prepare and package bags of lunch off site and deliver to the shelter. 35 - 45 lunches are needed each day. Please package all refrigerated items separately. A kind note of encouragement and love in each bagged lunch are appreciated too.

  • Welcome Home Baskets: "Welcome Home" baskets are given to our residents to take with them as they transition out of the Emergency lodge and into a new home of their own. These baskets could include towels, can opener, body wash, shampoo, laundry items and kitchen supplies and/or cleaning products (no alcohol based supplies). A note of encouragement and/or a bible or devotion would be a great addition, as they settle in their new home!

We love to give tours! When you are ready to drop off your donations, we would be happy to give a pre-scheduled tour of our facility between the hours of 8:30-4:00. This is a great way to see what a treasure each donation collected is to our residents and where your efforts are going to be used.

If you are interested in any of these great opportunities you can reach Adrianna - Volunteer Coordinator at adrianna.hilbelink@usc.salvationarmy.org or 920.694.1268

Thank you!
