The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of June 6

Jun 3, 2022

Sometimes when we do a favor or a kind deed for someone else, we are thinking more of ourselves than of the recipient of our actions. When we do this, Paul reminds us, we are missing the point entirely. Today, let’s focus 100 percent of our efforts on our neighbors themselves, without considering how we might benefit as well. Let us be pure in our intentions, blessing them wholly and fully with our service simply for the purpose of easing their burdens and improving their day.
