The Community Center is closed to guests at this time - services are being provided by phone registration and scheduled appointments only.
We continue our commitment and compassion to serve our vulnerable neighbors and those facing hardships during this challenging time. We are continuing our normal services with the following adjustments to ensure necessary precautions to address health and safety concerns for those we serve, our volunteers, and team members.

FOOD PANTRY - THURSDAY UPDATE 5.5.2021
Food pantry assistance is available by call-in registration Thursday between 9 am—2 pm. Call 231.946.4644 to schedule a same-day appointment.
COMMUNITY MEAL - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, AND FRIDAY: To-go Community Meal lunches are serviced Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 - 1 pm at the Emergency Disaster Truck in the parking lot at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. Traverse City.
FREE FOOD MARKET: UPDATE 5.5.2021 The Free Food Market distributes fresh perishable food and other food items Monday and Wednesday from noon - 1 pm outside at The Salvation Army Community Center at 1239 Barlow St., Traverse City.
EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Phone appointments for utility and emergency financial assistance are scheduled by our case management team. Please call 231-946-4644 during Community Center office hours - Monday - Friday 9-4.

THE SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE: RETAIL STORE is open Monday - Saturday 9-5. DONATION DROP OFF is open Monday - Saturday 9-3 (Please call ahead for questions or large donation drop-offs). We look forward to seeing you!
