The Community Center is closed to guests until further notice - service will be provided through phone in registration and scheduled appointments only.
We continue our commitment and compassion to serve our vulnerable neighbors and those facing hardships during this challenging time. We are continuing our normal services with the following adjustments to ensure necessary precautions to address health and safety concerns for those we serve, our volunteers and team members.

FOOD PANTRY - MONDAY AND THURSDAY -NO FRIDAY PANTRY
Food pantry assistance is available by call-in registration Monday and Thursday between 9am—2pm by calling 231.946.4644.
Prepared food bag are being distributed.
COMMUNITY MEAL - MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY: To-go Community Meal lunches are serviced Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 - 1 pm at the Emergency Disaster Truck in the parking lot at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. Traverse City.
COMMUNITY SHELF - MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY: Perishable food is distributed Monday and Wednesday 12-1 at the large garage located behind The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. in the alley. (While supplies last)
EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Phone appointments for utility and emergency financial assistance are scheduled by our case management team. Please call 231-946-4644 during Community Center office hours - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9-4

THE SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE: UPDATE Effective Wednesday, May 27, 2020 the retail thrift store will re-open following CDC and Michigan State guidelines. The store and donation drop off hours will be open Monday - Saturday 10am - 4pm. We look forward to seeing you!
