Join us for a summer of fun!


It is time to create wonderful new memories, meet new friends, gain new skills and confidence, and have an amazing experience with God in His creation! The Traverse City, Salvation Army is excited to provide area youth and their families an exciting,  safe, and affordable Summer Day Camp opportunity.

UPDATE May 21 - Registration is currently full - all new applications will be put on the waiting list.    

DATES AND TIMES:
Summer Day Camp runs from June 21 (Closed July 5) - August 13, 2021. Day Camp 2021 is designed for boys & girls 5 (who have completed kindergarten) -12 years of age.  
Day Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. with A.M. before care running from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and P.M. aftercare running from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

LOCATION:
Summer Day Camp is conveniently located at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. Traverse City.

COST:
Day Camp and before/aftercare is $90/ week and includes all field trips and other activities.
Day Camp Cost is $60/ week and includes all field trips and other activities. 
A.M. before care cost is $15/ week
P.M. aftercare cost is $15/ week

*Partial financial assistance is available to qualifying families based on income and family size. 

Day Camp 2021 has a capacity of 30 children.

Day Camp activities are conducted in Units based on age groups (groups of 10 children) as part of COVID -19 health and safety guidelines.
