We give kids their parents back.

We give families their loved ones back

Our rehabilitation programs are different from others - they're holistic and help heal the root causes of prolonged alcohol and drug dependence.

We offer two approaches: Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) and Licensed Treatment Centers, many of which are known as Harbor Lights. Both provide a safe, welcoming environment that is conducive to healing without discrimination.

The ARCs features a non-traditional, faith-based work therapy program and lasts six months. The Licensed Treatment Centers offer more traditional addiction recovery services and can include medicated-assisted treatment options.

The Salvation Army has more no-fee rehabiliation facilities than any other program in the U.S.

An estimated 88,000 people die from alcohol-related causes annually, making it the third leading preventable cause of death. In the past 20 years in the U.S., the drug overdose rate has tripled. Our programs can help write a different ending for someone's parent, child, or sibling.

Addiction is an epidemic.
For many, The Salvation Army is the cure.

Watch how The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers help restore families every day.

For more than 100 years, The Salvation Army has been on the front lines, helping to win the battle against drug and alcohol addiction. When left untreated, addiction can destroy individuals’ lives and tear families apart. Our holistic programs focus on the root causes and provide the tools needed for a healthy and purposeful life. You or your loved one don’t have to shoulder this burden alone.

These opportunities are designed to:

Renew the Mind and Spirit

Renew the mind and spirit by identifying attitudes, behaviors, relationships and situations that have reinforced an addictive lifestyle; and address the physical impact addictions have on optimal health.

Regain Hope

Regain hope through our foundational approach that is based on the infinite love of Jesus Christ and compassion for those who suffer. This is what sets us apart from other treatment options. Our integrative approach provides participants with opportunities to explore their individual spirituality, and its ability to positively support their well-being.

Restore Broken Relationships

Restore broken relationships with family and community once a participant is equipped with a better understanding, tools, and a new found strength to move forward.
