Summer Fan Program Helps Those in Need Beat the Heat
As the thick of summer sets in, those in need of relief from the heat can find it through The Salvation Army’s Summer Fan Program.
Thanks to supplying partner Westlake Ace Hardware and the generosity of donors, more than 200 box fans were recently delivered to the Summer Fan Program’s headquarters – the Burrows Center (6101 NW Radial Hwy).
Commissioner Kenneth Hodder, National Commander of The Salvation Army, said, "Families should not have to endure uncomfortable temperatures on top of their existing struggles. The continued partnership and support from Westlake Ace Hardware and its generous customers enables us to provide essential relief to our neighbors in need.”
